Classroom Guidance lessons will focus on friendship skills, bullying, conflict resolution, career exploration, test-taking skills in preparation for TCAP, character education, just say no to drugs, decision-making skills, and safety. Small groups dealing with social skills, divorce and study skills will be ongoing throughout the year. BUG (Bringing Up Grades/Self -Esteem) club will be held weekly and continue as long as the individual student needs help. We offer training to students in peer tutoring and peer mediation. We have an Ambassador program in place with fifth grade students assisting with registration, school tours, pictures, and other duties.
